Earlier today, June 25, a number of iCloud-based features, including Photos, Find My, iCloud Mail, and others, experienced brief outages, causing widespread service disruptions for Apple users.

Apple's System Status page states that the problems started at 12:06 AM IST and were fixed by 4:30 AM.

iCloud Mail, Photos, Find My, iCloud Account & Sign-In, and iCloud Web Apps (iCloud.com) were among the services that were impacted.

Between 12:10 AM and 3:00 AM, there were problems with the Find My service, which allows users to exchange positions or track their Apple devices.

According to Apple's official explanation for all services, "some users were affected" and might have "experienced an issue" or "a problem" with functioning or access. Data from Downdetector, an outage-tracking website, also showed a notable increase in complaints at 1:15 AM, with 908 issues reported at its highest point.

Email access was the most common problem (50%), followed by server connection issues (26%), and file access or synchronization issues (24%). During the downtime, users reported a variety of issues.

Others said that they kept getting the message to "sign into account to verify Apple ID," and others were unable to send or receive emails because of "sender invalid" issues.

Some also reported that there was no longer any syncing between Apple devices.

Apple has, as usual, not provided a thorough explanation for the disturbance but only reported that all services have since resumed normal.
